That’s right readers, in case you missed the memo, GOREZONE is back, better and more bizarre than ever! Our beloved FANGORIA sister magazine, which was launched in 1988 and ran for only 27 issues (26 of the regular series and a 27th capper celebrating the cinematic legacy of FRANKENSTEIN) is a cult favorite, lamented by our readers and a periodical whose return might be the most active request in our inbox. Well, we’ve done it. GOREZONE is back and it is not available on newsstands. And because we are avoiding the newsstand, GOREZONE will be fearless, featuring longer articles, ultra-gory imagery, risqué photos and controversial ideas. It’s a magazine by fans for fans and the perfect wild card companion to our titanic mothership, FANGORIA.

Published from 1988 to 1993 for 26 moist issues and edited by Fangoria legend Tony Timpone and featuring the writings of such iconic horror journalists as Tim Lucas and the late, great Chas. Balun, GOREZONE was an explosion of fake blood, prosthetic FX and rock and roll attitude that, although relatively short lived, left a major impact on the generation of viscera loving lads and ladies who stopped at nothing to get their grubby hands on it. In almost two decades since GOREZONE ceased publication, there have been many imitators (a same-named cheapie UK magazine currently haunts the newsstands, confusing and infuriating followers of the original) and many murmurs about Fango bringing it back to life. Now, FANGORIA is happy to announce the first stage in GOREZONE's hotly anticipated resurrection. This July will see the LIMITED EDITION release of THE BLOODY BEST OF GOREZONE issue number one, a collection of classic GOREZONE articles that offer some of the wildest glimpses of horror history ever assembled...with a few new twists (like words from former editor Timpone) that will serve to progress GOREZONE's legacy.
