Zombies resurrect in the body farm of a local university and wreak havoc throughout the area, attacking citizens and laying siege to a hospital. J.B., Anne and Neil barricade themselves inside the emergency room and prepare to meet the onslaught.

Barricaded in the ER, the situation looks bleak for J.B., Anne and Neil - until the Tennessee National Guard come to the rescue! They manage to blast through the zombie horde hungering for hospital patients, but J.B. will need his friends in the hills to put an end to this Appalachian Apocalypse!

Holed up inside Big Mouth Beau's, J.B. tries to hammer out a strategy for victory. The answer comes when Isaiah shows up, lending his personal knowledge of how Lilith's staff works and how it can be defeated. But it may be too late, as hundreds of zombies converge on the distillery....
